Being a BREATHE member comes with benefits that any artist would aspire. From concerts and events every week to a live concert recording, your part in BREATHE will boost your resume and career as a musician, dancer, or audio/video technician. But above all benefits, the greatest is to know that you are bringing glory to God through music and dance, and ministering to thousands throughout New York City. There is nothing greater than that! And to top it off, you'll get to work with other local artists who have the same heart and passion for the Lord and for the performing arts.

Commitment Period
Being a BREATHE member means dedicating 6 months of your time to ministry. These 6 months can depend on which term you are applying for, either January - June or July - December. During these 6 months, you are required to attend at least 6 hours of rehearsals per week, as well as the events you have signed up for. There will be 50-60 events per term, and you can sign up for as many events as you want, with a minimum of 12.
Committing means "to pledge or engage oneself". So remember that by applying, you are willing to engage yourself in 6 months of ministry (including weekly rehearsals and events) with BREATHE.
Media
Auditions, Rehearsals, Events, and any activity by BREATHE may be documented by video and/or photography. These videos and photos will only be used in BREATHE's promotional materials. A consent form is available in the BREATHE membership packet.
Membership Fee
BREATHE is a non-profit ministry of Jubilee Mission. Membership fees are used to provide all members of BREATHE with equal opportunities for rehearsal facilities, equipment, artistic leadership, administrative support, and event venues. In addition, membership fees allow BREATHE to continue its ministry throughout New York City free of charge, making BREATHE one of the most effective ministries through the performing arts.
The membership fee for BREATHE New York is $50 per month for the complete 6 months. Membership fee's can differ from location to location. For BREATHE members, please refer to the membership packet for payment methods.
Audition Fee
There is a small $7 audition fee which is due at the audition. Exact change is appreciated, cash only.
