New York - BREATHE Music had its first official general body meeting, which welcomed our first ten 2012 BREATHE Music members.
At this gathering, we first started with praise, opening up a graceful atmosphere, which one of the attendees commented on. Walking into the gathering while the praise was going on, she experienced grace as many voices were lifted and unified singing “I Am A Friend of God.”
We also opened the year with a great message about worship that helped everyone have a clearer understanding of what worship is, why we worship and who we worship.
Subsequently, the 2012 plans for BREATHE Music were presented which includes serving local churches and fellowships, doing events at shelters around the city, creating a BREATHE album towards the summer, among more plans.
Newly this year, BREATHE Music is also offering vocal lessons that will help the singers improve pitch and also serve as a source of income for our organization.
Ending the meeting with a closing prayer, attendants then auditioned. Everyone seemed to have a really pure heart that desires to use their talents to glorify God which is very hopeful.
“I am very excited about this year’s season. We have a group of musicians that came with graceful and humble hearts to unify with our vision for BREATHE Music. I can’t wait to see all that God has for us this year,” Jessica Brooks, BREATHE Music staff. |
